In my quest to avoid the sugar diabetes I have been following the ketogenic lifestyle for three weeks now. It has worked for me in the past and is effective now.![]()

With that said what a breath of fresh air to have a server willing to fill a complicated order! Johnny Dang had great suggestions, but what he did not have was a put out attitude. Eye rolls, anger and heavy exhales have no place in the service world. I like that he repeated our orders back to us—a sign of a server caring about getting it right.![]()

I love this restaurant. I try to hit it ever time I deliver to Norman—just not on a Sunday. Everybody deserves a day off so do not be hitting this place on the day they are closed.![]()

I already had a free day last night with Dara because I did not think I could survive seeing a movie without popcorn and a Pepsi—which in the end, she and I did not put a dent in that bucket. ![]()

Today I was determined to jump right back into abstaining from carbs. I got the dry ramen without the noodles with a side of that crunchy pork cutlet and kewpie mayo. Eveything on my plate was perfectly executed—just look at that jammy egg! I did leave most of that pleasurable breading on my plate, and that makes me feel good.![]()

I love tipping fat. I introduced myself to Johnny and found out he is from Tulsa, too! I told him to see me at Tulsa Farmers' Market in April, May, June, possibly July. I will not be at market once the temperature gets into the 100’s.![]()

Twenty years at market, y’all. I have gone from working out of a 350-Z clown car packed with a tent, a table and pizzas to a UHaul van to a UHaul box truck to a food truck to an itty bitty Subaru Impeza and now I will return with my new Subaru Crosstrek.![]()

The international selections at my tables are huge—pantry, soups, sauces, pizzas, Lumpia, protein packs, TV dinners, cookies, cakes, candy, throw down winners. I carry vegan/vegetarian, gluten-free, keto-friendly, salt-free, omnivore fare. This year I will add seasoning salts and more Filipino dishes to the mix.![]()

Once it gets blisteringly hot, I will return to open house tasting events at my kitchen, which will include Filipino hot food sporadically throughout the summer. I will plan to have a calendar full of catering events at this time.![]()
